Moulton Mill (shown right)
in Lincolnshire is just short of 100ft, but does not yet have sails.
Sutton Windmill (shown below left) is 9 floors
at 80 ft. Its sails
are 73 feet from tip to tip and the 10 bladed fantail, 12 foot in
diameter.
Smock Mills
The tallest smock mill in Britain is Union Mill, Cranbook,
Kent (shown below right). This is 70 feet, and 7 storeys including a brick base
3 storeys high. This is restored and in full working order.
