Exposure Control and Graduated Filters

When Photographers Resource started it was the newsletter of Camera Images. Later it split away to become a separate operation.

Camera Images was the main training provider for advanced users and professionals using Nikon cameras.

With the recession the cost of selling courses exceeded the revenue they produced so Camera Images decided not to take on new clients, but to still provide training to it's existing customer base.

The courses mentioned in the articles below are no longer available unless you are an existing client of Camera Images.

Camera Images Short (3 hours)

This ‘short' looks at:

  • exposure,

  • metering,

  • the different exposure metres, both built in and optional,

  • metering aids as well  identifying and overcoming problems and how and where to use graduated filters.

The EV system and exposure aid is used as well as the zone system being lightly covered, as well as a number of other routes, including multiple exposure, bracketing and software solutions.

Three hours does not provide enough time to cover these all in detail, the methods thought to be the most interesting or relevant to your area of photographic interest will be concentrated on.

Short CIS-EPS-EC – Exposure Control including Graduated Filters

It can be taken in a morning, afternoon or evening, on their own or with other courses or shorts.   Cost: 3 training vouchers.

To book this course go to the Camera Images website and take the Part Day option and then the Shorts or click here to go direct to the special 'Shorts' website.

If you want to have a training day which takes a more indepth look at Exposure then read this article taking a look at the Exposure Masterclass.
