Denton Hall Turret

The main part is the foundations of a turret and a 65 metre (213 feet) length of Wall.

A second part of the wall is to the west, the other side of the traffic island. The aerial photos shows these quite well.

A third part of wall nearby is just east just before the first roundabout on the right.

Two sections of wall either side of the A1 on the A69/A186 the turret in the section to the east. Go past the wall going east, until you get to a roundabout, go right into Denton Road, at the next roundabout go right into Broadwood Road, follow this around and go left into Turret Road, there is room to park by the turret, which will be on your right. The second part is accessible by going west over the A1 and take road on the left, Southway and immediate left again into the ramparts. The third part can be accessed by going west from the island, and pulling into a small car park for a park area just past the section of the wall. Access: Access to the section with the turret is not from the main road but from the road behind, directions above.
