SUBMISSIONS: 

Photographs:  Mostly colour digital files preferred. News pictures covering the current rail network as well as images from recent heritage events, galas or rail tours. Also pictures of new liveries, new trains on test, accidents/derailments and rare or unusual workings. Previously unpublished work from 1940’s onwards always of interest for historical features. Top quality non-news pictures may be used for spreads and/or occasional calendars. Captions should be supplied. Digital email thumbnails max 10, CD’s max 50, must be accompanied by a thumbnail sheet.

Articles:  Well researched illustrated articles on any British railway current or heritage. Discuss with editor first.

Freelance Potential:   Excellent.

Fees: £15 minimum for News pictures up to £50+ for larger reproductions.

Other Notes:  News pictures must not be more than 6 weeks old.
