A small rocks-and-pebbles beach, though some sand is exposed at low tide. It’s south-facing and quite sheltered, and usually quiet apart from the occasional passing walker on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

The distinctive purple sandstone of Caerbwdi was quarried in Medieval times to provide the fine edging stone for St Davids Cathedral.
