Article Staying In or By a LighthouseMany light keepers cottages and other auxiliary buildings have been converted to holiday accommodation and are available to rent. They can be the ideal location for a break even if lighthouses are not a real interest to you, you get sea air, great views and more. You may however just want to check the situation on the 'fog horn' on the location of interest, and if you sleep walk or have small children then consider the safely of the site. You should also check how far you have to walk, you have to carry luggage, shopping and if going in and out this can turn from pleasure into a task to overcome. The locations we have identified so far are listed below, they are in alphabetical order by country or area, using the same groupings as our other listings. Below this are links to some organisations that rent them out, and you may want to check these as they may have others we have not so far listed. If you know of others or discover any errors in this listing then please let us know. England and Wales
