Bosherston FortThis fort is situated on a triangular headland between two valleys which now contain Bosherston’s famous lily ponds. A double bank and ditch defended the headland, while a smaller bank within the fort may have divided off an area in which livestock could be kept. It is owned and managed by The National Trust, and they have carried out a programme of clearance work to make access to the fort easier, and it is possible to trace the position of several round timber houses on the headland. It is within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Also See Nearby attractions: Bosherton Lillyponds and Barafundle Bay Planning Grid
