A 17th century black and white half timber framed dovecote at Wichenford Court, restored during the mid 20th century. It is a square plan of rendered wattle-and-daub infill on a sandstone rubble plinth with brick cover. It is topped with a tiled roof and a cupola which would have been where the birds entered. The side viewed from the parking area Inside there is a cobbled floor and houses 560 nest boxes which is layed out as 10 nest boxes by 14 rows on all 4 walls. Access to inside is through a very small planked door which is raised some distance off the ground.
